This is the part where I plug my ears with lima beans and burn every flute I own in my barbecue grill: Sarah Palin is an "accomplished floutist."
And dig the band in the background. Someone needs to shoot that trumpet player, like, yesterday.

The comments area still cracks me up on that one. All the comments on the video are rabidly pro-Palin, pro-Republican... but they're all rated way down into the double-digit reds. There are obviously comments that we're NOT SEEING. Probably the majority of them. ;)
But I wouldn't have rated down "So soulful, so musical, such an exquisite tone. Not to mention perfect intonation."... that one couldn't POSSIBLY have been serious... could it?? I had assumed it was a brilliant way to sneak sarcasm past an ignorant moderator.

James Galway - who's also horrifically terrible, BTW - should send a cease and desist! And I nearly sprayed beer on my laptop when the backup band came in.
Is there a way to charge her with a hate crime? Although the statute of limitations probably ran out on that one awhile back...

P.U.
It feels like a scene from "Drop Dead Gorgeous" that was left on the cutting room floor.
No vibrato. No soul. Ever so slightly off pitch.
Ick.
