It's time once again to revisit and revise the resolutions for this year. Feh. More work to do. (List after the jump.)
Rejoin the union. (Don't ask, long story.)(January)- Give that contractor a call and play for him finally. (November)
- Pay off my new flute.
- Practice flute every day as much as possible.
Learn to really play the oboe and make reeds so I don't sound like a duck.(Sold the oboe after realizing I needed a much better instrument.)- Pay off the remaining credit cards.
- Live out of the fridge, not the takeout box.
- Save more money.
- Lose some weight. (How much I'm not sure, but any amount is good.)
- Keep my A1C down below 7.0
- Keep up with my friends, call them back, and spend more time with them.
- Keep the house clean myself or hire a maid.
- Do more relaxing things. (Made a conscious decision on this in November.)
- Stress about work less, enjoy my work more.
- Stand up for myself and speak my mind.
- Keep my desk clean.
- Keep my reed table clean and actually use it.
- Finish my home projects and knitting projects.
- Fold the laundry and put it away immediately.
- Go to at least one college football game, Alabama or Maryland.
- Read War and Peace. No, I'm serious this time.
- Get 8 hours of sleep whenever I can. (Did pretty good on this one)
- Call people back promptly. (Did better on this one too.)
Read more books.(Audible.com counts, right?)Clean out and organize the storage closets.(June)- Talk to my family more often.
- Listen to more music for the sake of learning something new.
- Be a more involved teacher.
- Mind my garden better. (EPIC. FAIL.)
- Be nicer to the people who matter.
