Back when I was first in college, this whole internet thing was new to me (hey, it was 1995 and I had spent way too much time in high school grounded) and I spent a lot of time in computer labs farting around and surfing. One of my favorite things was Usenet, particularly the rec.arts.movies group. At one point I discovered David Friedman's Official Netters’ MUST-SEE MOVIES Checklist!!! (original Usenet archive message here) and was surprised to find my checklist at almost two hundred of the films the group had compiled as the must-see movies of all time. This is still one of the best movie lists I've ever seen, and can now be found over at his blog, Ironic Sans.
My current total? 291 of about 540 or so. Go check your stats.
