John Howard described Irwin's death in north Queensland as a "huge loss to Australia" and actor Russell Crowe said Irwin was "the Australian that we all aspire to be".
Yeah, Russell Crowe, the shining example of how every Australian should be seen (see here and here and here), telling us his choice for a model citizen. That in and of itself should be a red flag in all this business that something is severely wrong with what's going on in the press.
If Russell Crowe count you as a role model, that's probably not the best recommendation.
